I ordered an eBook and have not received my password, what do I do?

If you ordered an eBook and have not received a password within 24 hours, there may be a problem. The first thing you need to do is check where ever your spam blocking software puts your blocked messages. Most of the time the email with the password has been blocked. The email will have a subject saying "EBook Password" and it will be coming from sehoye@bellsouth.net. If it's not there, then you will need to contact me at ebook@wirecreation.com to let me know. If you are located within the USA, send me a phone number and time to call and I will call you to straighten out the problem. If you are located outside the USA, send me an email stating that you have not received your password along with the correct mailing address and I will snail mail it to you.

Another thing that you can do that will help is to add sehoye@bellsouth.net to your email list before ordering or before contacting me and that will stop your spam blocking program from blocking emails from that address.

Will the eBooks work with Windows Vista?

Yes, however you have to work it a little different. If when you try to open the eBook you get a pop up that says it has stopped, you can open it using right click and choose "'Run As Administrator." and the eBook will open.

Will the eBooks work on a Mac computer?

Yes, older Mac systems will require a special software that will enable them to view Windows files, such as http://www.iemulator.com/. However, the new Macs are capable of running Windows files.

How do I get updates?

When an eBook has been updated, it will have a "Revised Date" above the picture of the item showing the date that the book was revised or updated. If you downloaded the eBook prior to that date, you will need to download it again. Your password should still work if you download it and replace the older version. If for some reason the password no longer works, email me at ebook@wirecreation.com and I will send another password to the email address that you provided with the order.

What are the payment options?

You have two ways to pay, you can use a credit card or you can use PayPal if you have an account. If you are outside of the USA and use a credit card, it cannot be a debit card as they will not work on international transactions.

Can I order by phone or email without going through the shopping cart?

Sorry, but I have to have all orders come through the shopping cart. It is secure and is the only way to send personal information over the internet. Never send any personal information through regular email to anyone. You will receive an order confirmation of exactly what I will receive from the shopping cart "less any credit card information" as soon as the order is placed so you can be sure that everything is as you wanted. So there should be no mistakes made. Sorry, but phone orders at this time.

How is the best way to download an eBook?

When you click to download an eBook you will have two options. You will have to choose either "Run" or "Save". If you choose "Run", it will automatically start to download and will be downloaded into your temporary internet files and it will automatically open. If you close the book you will have to come back to the site and click on download to open it again, and if you empty your temporary internet files you will have to download it again. If you have a password or are planning to order one, the best way to download an eBook is to choose "Save". Then you will be asked where you want to save it. You can put it in your download files or any folder that you want and you can open it any time you want without being on the internet. If you are planning to open it a lot, you might want to consider downloading it to your desktop. When you do that, an icon will be placed on your desktop that you can click on at any time to open the book.

Other Information

The eBooks were created to help you in designing and making the wire jewelry that you find on this site. I have spent years studying and practicing this art. Some of the items are designs that I personally came up with myself and some are designs that I seen done by others. To me, there is no quick way to learn this art; anyone can do it if they are willing to spend the time. Really all it takes is a little guidance and spending some time practicing. How much time depends on the person, some can master this art quickly and some, it takes a lot of patience and practice.

These books are your guidance; they will give you everything you need to do, step by step, to create a nice piece of jewelry. Will you be able to do this the first try, I don't know, but if you practice you can master this.

I have decided to make these books small, only one project per book. That way you can order only the one you want, master it and then try another. I hate having to pay $59.95 for a book that I already know 90% of what is in it, but have to pay the full price to get the other 10%. There was one time that I actually did pay $59.95 for a video and all I wanted to do was look at the back side of a pendant. I played the video until I saw the back, stopped it and have never looked at it again.

These books are written assuming that you at least know a little about wire wrapping. If you have never tried this and know nothing about it, you might want to wait a little while as I plan in the very near future of creating an eBook for a totally green beginner. It will include some practice exercises to help you master this art at a faster pace. It will include a ton of information on where to get tools and supplies. It will have a lot of short cuts to save you a lot of money. It will tell you what you need to do to get into craft shows, how to set up your booth, and most important, how to sell what you have made. To me this will be one of the most informative eBooks of all, even for someone who is already into the art. It doesn’t matter how good you are at making jewelry unless you know where and how to sell it, you end up with a large supply of Christmas presents.

Something to think about, have you ever been to a craft show and saw a piece of jewelry that you would really like to learn how to make, ask the crafter how he did it and he just look at you and grin? I have and usually I will actually buy the piece take it home and try to figure it out, even if I have to take it apart. Well I take it apart for you in the book; if you don’t believe that, look at it backwards. You will be more successful if you have an actual piece in front of you that you can pick up and study to go along with the eBook.

How To Download

To download an eBook is simple. Click on the “Click Here” link next to “To Download”. A screen will pop up asking if you want to “Run or Save”. If you choose run, the book will be downloaded to your temporary files and not saved on your hard drive. If you choose save, the book will actually be downloaded to your computer and you can save it. You can choose where you would like to save it and you can view it any time you like. If you have windows XP, you might encounter a problem. A popup may come up just under your browser toolbar that tells you that the download is being blocked. You will have to click on it and give windows permission to allow the download. If you are still having problems, go to the Download Problems section.

How To View

After you have downloaded the book and are ready to view it. You will see the cover and down close to the bottom of the cover will be a button that says “Begin”, click it and the book will open to the introduction page. This is the only page you will be able to view without a password. When you click on anything else a window will popup telling you that you need to purchase a password to view the page you requested. If you have a password it will instruct you to press F2 to enter your password. When you press F2 a window will popup with a field for you to enter the password. Enter it exactly as it was sent to you as it is case sensitive, press enter and the book will open for you to view the entire book. You can navigate the book by the book tabs and also by using the buttons at the top of your screen.

How To Order

To order a book, just click the “Purchase” button below the book. That will take you to the secure shopping cart where you can complete your purchase. Follow the shopping cart instructions to check out. Be sure to double check that you entered the correct email address as this will be the email address that the password will be sent to. When you have completed the checkout process you will receive an email confirmation from the shopping cart that will look just like the order that I will receive, less credit card information. Now, please understand, you have to crawl before you can walk and I am in the crawling stage with this. This is not something that once you click buy, you check your email and its there. I’ll have to receive the order, process the credit card and then send you your password, this may take awhile. It should never take more than 24 hours before you hear from me during the week. If you order on the weekend, it could be Monday before you get the password. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

Download Problems:

(1) If you're using a firewall program, such as Personal Firewall™, Gauntlet™ or Zone Alarm™, this may also prevent you from downloading and opening the eBook file. You may need to disable the program until you complete your download.

(2) If you're using an anti-virus program, such as Norton™ or McAfee™, you may need to disable the program until you complete your download.

(3) If you have recently upgraded to Windows XP SP2, you may be prevented from downloading the eBook. To start the download, you must first click on the Internet Explorer Information Bar, and then on 'Download File' to begin the download.

Please note: If you have an older operating system, including Windows 95, 98 or ME, or have upgraded from an older system, you will need to download and install a free Microsoft Windows Script Control plug-in to utilize the latest technologies included within this eBook.
